9am - 4pm - lunch provided
Classic IWCA course taught by Jack Evans. Both classroom training and hands-on instruction of boom-lift safety, ladder safety and self-rescue techniques.
All participants will have the opportunity for one-on-one instruction.

JRC Residential Rooftop Safety Course
9am - 4pm - lunch provided
For OSHA compliance. Covers fall hazards associated with ladder, transfer from ladder to roof, and on the roof.
How to recognize, deal with hazards, document and execute a written Safety plan.
Written test & certificate. Rebate - upon completion, the registration fee can be applied to JRC purchases

Opening remarks/ Introductions.
Before we get started, we introduce ourselves - so no one is a stranger.
A chance to tell everyone what you're looking to discuss.

Middle school kid needs a project for the science fair - parents are window cleaners - parents suggest tempered glass problem. What could a middle school kid prove, and how?  Let's think this through.
Plus a stunning demo of how scratches look worse hours AFTER you inspect. (Learned at GPD 13 in Finland)

Presented by Gary Mauer.

Glass scratching workshop

A chance to get hands on with glass samples. Observe damage with a microscope.
Learn to identify low-e. Study metal marks, rubber marks, discuss how to correct them.

Attendees and sponsors can show their vehicle setups and trailered equipment. Park along the hotel's back driveway - opposite the hotel.
(Please don't park in spots reserved for major Picnic sponsors, or in the hotel fire lane.)
