I believe screen burn, is caused from metal screens oxidizing, then
transfering to the glass by a combination of rain water and wind. The
company I work for does not include this in they're standard cleaning price, and
does charge accordingly for removal.

Subject: Re: [World] Screen Burn?
Can someone explain again, in detail, what exactly screen burn is. I
am looking for a way to effectively convey to customers what it is and
why it takes longer to clean than standard window cleaning. I am running into
it more and more lately on true divided window panes and it is very time
consuming trying to remove it. I was wondering if others charge accordingly
for the labor involved in removing it.
Thank you.
