Only time will tell is a safe bet, but Cliff will need to decide where he stands with the IWCA and GANA.  They are on opposite sides of this DEFECTIVE tempered glass issue and I will be looking forward to watching how Cliff attempts negotiate with BOTH associations.

It's down to who prints his paycheck vs his personal beliefs about right or wrong.

Does our balance hang in the fate of this individual??

Glen Holzman
Glen,

Right now, Arch prints his checks, so I'm sure they will have some influence on what he does with GANA.

It's not a matter of right and wrong, unless your talking about him doing the RIGHT thing.  But with that being said, he knows EXACTLY what's causing the defective tempered glass surface issue and knows how to eliminate it.

Cliff worked for a very high quality temperer (Guardian) for a large portion of his career and they have been producing VERY HIGH quality tempered glass year in and year out.  Their tempered glass surface IS NOT inherently different as GANA's BULLetin trys to suggest: "Heat-treated glass surfaces are different."

Our balance or future does not hang in Cliffs decisions.  It's more like he has a chance to come clean with this issue and work with window cleaners and his client (the builders) that buys his product.

With or without Cliff, we will be educating builders more each and every day and with that education the builders will finally discover they have the choice to select the quality product and refuse to except a product that scratches with NORMAL window cleaning procedures.

I'm looking forward to Cliffs position with GANA on poor quality tempered glass in the future.

I hope he chooses to expose the truth about how easy quality tempered glass surfaces can be fabricated, if the fabricator chooses to maintain their equipment and facility as the equipment manufactures suggest.

I wish him well with the decision he chooses.
