I see … definitely not something the average lay person is aware of.  I am now all the more convinved that I don’t want to go verbal with my customers on the issue of fab debris.

It would depend on what "IT" you are talking about. 

 

Making glass or fabricating tempered glass out of glass that is already made.

 

Tempering is not part of making flat glass. 

 

Flat glass is manufactured by a "glass" manufacture

 

Tempered glass is "Fabricated" by a glass "Fabricator."  It's done to a glass product that is already made, at a different time than the glass manufacturing.
